In order to be accepted for the Master’s Programme in Global Health, students must meet the basic entrance requirements, hold a Bachelor’s degree worth 180 credits in a social sciences, health sciences, economics, arts main area or equivalent and English B/English 6 at upper secondary level or equivalent IELTS 6.5 where no section may be less than 5.5, or TOEFL 575 Health Promotion and Disease Prevention. After offering insights into general global health challenges and the frameworks within which they can be addressed (Global Health Governance and Leadership), this course will cover different methods of health promotion and disease prevention at different levels: in communities, using a policy- and settings-based approach, and in crisis situations.
